Family & Groups

Shorter drives, more space, and a pace that does not break anyone.

  • Amboseli
  • Nairobi
  • Diani
  • Naivasha
  • Tsavo

Family trips fail on logistics, not on destinations. Six hours in a car with a seven-year-old undoes whatever you were driving towards. We build these around shorter legs, lodges that actually want children there, and enough slack that one bad morning does not wreck the week.

What people come for

  • Amboseli for elephants close enough that nobody gets bored
  • Naivasha as a soft first stop — two hours from Nairobi, boats and giraffe
  • Beach at the end rather than the beginning, so it is a reward
  • Family rooms and connecting doors, requested and confirmed

Ours to sort out

What we handle on a trip like this.

Family rooms and connecting doors
Child seats fitted before you arrive
Lodges that welcome children rather than tolerate them
Journeys broken into sensible legs
Group transport for larger parties
Someone to call when a plan needs changing

Roughly how it goes

A shape, not a package.

A starting point we'd happily tear up.

Day 1

Nairobi, gently

Land, sleep, and see the elephant orphanage in the morning. Nobody enjoys a long drive on arrival day.

Days 2–4

Amboseli

Four hours down, then two full days. Elephants at close range do more for a child than any number of distant lions.

Days 5–8

The coast

Fly to Diani so the last leg is short. Finish the trip in the sea.
